Keiki's

We currently have 2 classes for our children.  In our keiki class, children start as young as 5 years old.  They learn dance skills in conjunction with halau protocol, culture and language. As they progress, they are challenged with more difficult material in oli and mele as well.
Our Na 'Opio class consists of young people ages 13 and up. Those entering this class are more advanced in our halau practices having been part of the keiki class prior to moving up. This class presents even more challenges in dance, protocol, culture, olelo, oli and mele.
This well rounded, age appropriate, curriculum is geared to helping our youth enhance our mission "To perpetuate and preserve the teachings of Hawaiian Culture, Hawaiian Traditions and beliefs through language, songs, chants and dance; thereby bringing people together through cultural edification."
