Community Engagement

We have had numerous opportunities with Pacific Islander Organizations as well as Community Events in the Pacific Northwest. Working with the many youth in High Schools and performing for many Community Events has been instrumental in helping us  further educate our community with language, music, dance, workshops and history.

  • Everything becomes a learning experience - from making our food, to picking flowers for our lei, to dying our fabrics for our costumes. We learn to combine efforts to make the experience enjoyable along with engaging all of our senses to create our total hula life.

  • From time to time, our halau will offer workshops to other groups that are interested in expanding their education in music, dance, history and/or language within the Hawaiian culture. Please contact us if you would like more information or to discuss options.
