About
Puahi is a collective passion project by The Ke’ala ‘O Kamailelauli’ili’i Foundation & The Kamehameha Schools Alumni Association PNWR.
This 2-day summer program is geared towards all of the keiki here in the PNW. Giving them a weekend filled with: Olelo Hawaii, Hula, Mele, Arts/Crafts & History.
With our pilot program launching in 2022, we tested our curriculum to ensure the lessons were easy to grasp & with age group appropriate understanding. We believe that as they enter their teen years, the keiki are at a crucial point where their learning capabilities are able to keep up with not only the curriculum that is being taught, but also because this is a tender age where they start to grow into their own. Peer groups start to change, and inclusivity, and belonging are important.
