This gathering invites the community to come together in a space of learning and reflection as we explore the moʻokūʻauhau of Queen Liliʻuokalani, sharing her lineage and leadership during a pivotal and tumultuous time in Hawaiian history.

Through talk story, Hailama Farden will offer historical context, cultural insights, and perspectives that honor the legacy of Liliʻuokalani and deepen our understanding of Hawaiʻi’s history leading up to the overthrow of the Hawaiian Kingdom.
